MANILA, PHILIPPINES — BBDO Guerrero welcomes back a familiar face as Dennis Nierra returns home after nine years to take up the Creative Director role.
Dennis started his creative career with BBDO Guerrero back in 2009 to 2014 as an Art Director where he worked on several award-winning campaigns such as the Pepsi “Liter of Light,” the Department of Tourism’s “It’s more fun in the Philippines,” and Pepsi Pinas.
Since 2015, Dennis pursued a career in Shanghai, China where he worked with Fred & Farid and Ogilvy before the pandemic brought him back home in 2020. He has since done freelance CD work with Octopus & Whale, having a small part in their winning “Save Our Sharks” campaign and a stint at Publicis Jimenez Basic.
Dennis’ body of work has been recognized by multiple international award shows including a coveted Silver Lion from Cannes Lions, a Gold from Clio Awards, a Grand Prix from MAD STARS (formerly Ad Stars), The One Show, LIA, Spikes, Campaign Brief, and so much more.
Dennis said “I could go and be lost anywhere in the world, but my feet will always take me back to BBDO Guerrero. It’s home, and I’m glad to be back.”
David Guerrero, Creative Chairman at BBDO Guerrero, said: “Dennis has a unique perspective on the work and we’re happy to have him back with us. I know he’s going to bring his best game to our clients, and be a great mentor to our teams.”
