MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Since its launch in 2013, the Starbucks Rewards program has always been about appreciating and rewarding the brand’s most loyal customers.

Starbucks Philippines announced an exciting evolution of its rewards program allowing new customers to join with just their email and enabling members to collect Stars any way they choose to pay.

Join Starbucks Rewards with just your email

You can become a Starbucks Rewards member with just your email. Once you’ve completed the sign-up process through the Starbucks website or the app, you’ll receive a unique 16-digit digital card that you can load with funds anytime. If you come across a seasonal Starbucks Card design you simply can’t resist, you can purchase it in stores and easily link to your account in the future.

Stars for everyone

Starbucks Rewards members can now scan their app and make in-store payments using cash, credit/debit cards, or e-wallets, earning one Star for every PHP 50 spent. Members will also keep their current benefits, such as earning one Star per PHP 25 spent when using their Starbucks Card or one Star per PHP 40 spent on GrabFood or Lazada for linked accounts.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to introduce an easier online sign-up process, making our Starbucks Rewards program accessible to all, with Stars earned regardless of payment method,” said Jamie Silva, Senior Manager for Marketing, Digital Experience, and Loyalty.

“Our loyal customers have always been the heart of Starbucks, and we are committed to enhancing their experience through this exciting innovation.”

The Starbucks app has become an integral part of the Starbucks experience. Embraced for its convenience in finding stores, ordering ahead, and enabling contactless payments, Starbucks Rewards members can anticipate more payment options and rewards in the future.
