PJB’s Brandie Tan returns to J. Walter Thompson Manila

MANILA – After 9 years, Brandie Tan rejoins J. Walter Thompson Manila as executive creative director. Along with former ECD, now Chief Creative Officer, Dave Ferrer and former associate creative director, Tin Sanchez and the JWT team, Brandie, then a creative director, helped in winning the Philippines’ first ever Gold Lion in Cannes for the radio commercials ‘Corporitual’ and ‘Traffic Therapy’ for Lotus Spa in 2007.

“JWT is known for creating great work. I’m happy to become a part of that again. In a way it’s a home coming for me. My years away have given me experience which I can only hope would be able to share and help keep the work great for their brands. Looking forward to partnering with Golda, Dave, Pam and the rest of the team. They are a passionate, talented and focused bunch.”

Brandie carries with him years of experiencing as ECD at Lowe Vietnam, BBDO Guerrero, Lowe Kuala Lumpur, and Publicis JimenezBasic. Apart from the snatching the country’s first Gold Lion, he has repeatedly won accolade in Cannes, Clio, D&AD, One Show, Spikes, Kancils, Adfest and AME’s. He has also done jury duty for these award shows.

A graduate of the University of the Philippines, he pursued further studies at the Academy of Art, San Francisco and upon finishing he also served as lecturer at the school.
