MANILA – The 10th Araw Values Awards received a record-breaking 424 entries, the highest number of entries submitted since it was established, signifying a victorious feat for the advertising and marketing communications industry. With the introduction of online submission and judging of entries, the Araw Values Awards has yet again lifted the ranks of responsible brands and help promote Filipino values in this day and age.
All entries are judged based on the following criteria: Value Message = 50%, Creativity = 40%, and Implementation and Execution=10%. These entries are now being carefully reviewed and evaluated by the distinguished panel of judges in the industry.
There are two rounds of judging. The first is for the Finalists-Metal Round where entries are determined whether they make it as a finalist or as a metal winner, and the second is for the Platinum awards, where all Gold Metal winners for Branded and Advocacy Communications are qualified to compete. Both rounds have different set of judges. Online judging system will be supervised by the competition’s independent auditing firm, Punong Bayan & Araullo. For the Students Competition, the highest scoring entry across all categories shall receive the Grand ARAW Values trophy.
The Araw Values Awards is organized by the Ad Foundation of the Philippines to uphold traditional and positive Filipino values in the industry and promote responsible advertising.
