MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Many can lay claim to creating campaigns that celebrate the strength of a nation, but very few ever really deliver. And among them is the telecommunity company, DITO.

Featuring up-and-coming artists from the country’s three major regions – Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao – the new Gáling DITO music video is an impressive visual showcase of what it’s like to pursue your passion. It’s both inspiring and wonderful to watch, which is perhaps one of the reasons why within 48 hours of launch, it’s already reached more than six million views on YouTube. A major player in the telco industry, DITO wishes to use this campaign to underscore its commitment to helping Filipinos pursue their passion – by providing them easier access to fast and stable connections to the rest of the world.

The campaign line “Gáling DITO” literally means “it comes from here.” The word galing can also mean talent or skill. This wordplay intends to bring a sense of pride to Filipinos by saying that these talents all come from the Philippines.
