SINGAPORE – BBDO Malaysia has helped Guardian Pharmacy launch their new Chinese New Year Campaign, which showcases a father’s love for his daughter through the giving of gifts.

Insight shows that Asian parents are not the best at expressing themselves emotionally, especially when it comes to verbal expressions of love. Instead, they show their affection for their family in more subtle ways, but all the while their children know that they wish the best for them.

BBDO Malaysia used this insight to develop the recent Chinese New Year ad that showed a father giving his daughter a gift from Guardian at every important stage of her life. The final gift, the ‘Dreams and Aspirations’ charm, highlights Guardian’s partnership with Swarovski while also showing the generosity and love the father has for his daughter.

This video was streamed on Facebook and YouTube, with a 30-second promo spot aired on national television.
