CANNES — Y&R Philippines gained two shortlisted entries for its ‘Liter Lottery’ campaign for Chevron Philippines and ‘Facebook Memories’ for Rock Ed Philippines.
The ‘Liter Lottery’ campaign got a shortlist nod under the Channels category – Use of Ambient Media: Large Scale. Y&R Philippines and Chevron Philippines ran their media campaign to push their consumer promo which gave motorists in Luzon a chance to win fuel discounts and other prizes during the last Holy Week. On the other hand, the ‘Facebook Memories’ campaign for Rock Ed Philippines was shortlisted under Sectors – Corporate Image which honored all non-product -based campaigns to build the image of a brand. Y&R Philippines and Rock Ed Philippines produced Facebook posters akin to the social media network’s On This Day feature to feature facts about the atrocities of the Martial Law.
