The One Club for Creativity names 6 APAC creatives as finalists for Young Guns 22

NEW YORK, USA — Six talented young creatives based in APAC are among the finalists from 18 countries in The One Club for Creativity’s prestigious Young Guns 22 competition, which celebrates global creative professionals age 30 or younger.

Young Guns is the industry’s only global, cross-disciplinary, portfolio-based awards competition identifying and celebrating today’s vanguard of young creatives. This year’s entries were judged by a diverse jury of 101 creatives, many of whom are past YG winners, from 45 countries.

YG22 finalists based in APAC are listed below:

China:

  • Jiaan Dai, art director, graphic designer, The End Design, Guangzhou City
  • Puiham Chan & Kaytung Hun, creative team, studioTODO, Shanghai

Hong Kong SAR China:

  • Poe Cheung, design director, graphic designer, Nous, Hong Kong SAR China

This year’s winners will be announced on October 30 and celebrated at a special in-person party on November 13 at Sony Hall in New York.

All Young Guns winners receive a unique version of the iconic Young Guns Cube, designed exclusively for this year’s incoming class, and have their permanent profile page added to the Young Guns website.  

Winners also receive a complimentary one-year One Club for Creativity membership, permanent membership in the Young Guns network, a chance to be featured in Young Guns events, and various career-boosting opportunities from Young Guns sponsors.

The program branding and design of the YG Cube award are reimagined each year by a past Young Guns winner. This year’s YG22 branding was created by Timothy Goodman, a renowned New York-based designer, illustrator, muralist, and author (YG7).

Levine/Leavitt Artist In Residence Award

For the 10th consecutive year, international artists management agency and Young Guns sponsor Levine/Leavitt will bestow one talented winner with the Artist In Residence Award.

The honor, presented annually at the YG celebration, goes to a newly crowned Young Gun whose body of work truly stands out, as judged by an advisory board of industry professionals across various disciplines. The winner receives a full year of professional development, guidance, and mentorship from Levine/Leavitt to help advance their career.
