SINGAPORE — Impact.com, the world’s leading partnership management platform, has announced the appointment of Emma-Jayne (EJ) Owens as Senior Director, Community and Enablement for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, with a special focus on Southeast Asia (SEA).
In this newly created senior management position, EJ will oversee stakeholder training, advocacy and community enablement activities across the region. Her remit will be to educate and inspire the marketing industry via a range of initiatives including external thought leadership roundtables, partner and customer networking events, internal sales coaching, as well as accelerating the adoption of impact.com’s industry certification program, Partnerships Experience Academy (PXA), which already has over 30,000 learners globally.
EJ’s focus will be on supporting impact.com’s expansion and market education efforts in SEA, a region undergoing significant digital transformation, with key markets like Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia at the forefront.
“We’re bringing in a leader of EJ’s pedigree because we‘re committed to driving the advancement of the partnership economy across APJ,” said Adam Furness, APAC Managing Director at impact.com. “Her expertise in building high-impact industry relationships and education programs will be instrumental as we continue to empower our community of brands, agencies and publishers in the region, especially in SEA to unlock growth through affiliate, influencer and customer referral marketing — especially critical as the industry navigates rising customer acquisition costs and tighter marketing budgets.”
EJ brings significant leadership experience, with an extensive background in strategic planning, operational leadership, and revenue growth in the digital and media technology sectors. Most recently, she was Managing Director APAC at Blis where she expanded revenue in key APAC markets and launched successful omnichannel and programmatic revenue streams. EJ was previously Chief Commercial Officer at Australian Radio Network, and held senior leadership positions at Big Mobile and ninemsn (MI9).
“What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to combine my leadership and coaching experience with my passion for people and connections – which is what the Partnership Economy is all about, ” said EJ Owens. “I look forward to building programs that deepen industry knowledge in a diverse market like Southeast Asia, creating both on and offline events and initiatives to help upskill and inspire the next generation of partnership marketing leaders.”
