OMD Singapore crowned Media Agency of the Year at Singapore Media Awards

SINGAPORE – OMD Singapore won a total of 16 awards including the coveted Agency of the Year & Digital Performance Agency of the Year at the recently held Singapore Media Awards. Since the inception of SMA 13 years ago, OMD has won the Agency of the Year title 5 times, more than any other agency network in Singapore.

OMD Singapore’s work for NTUC Income, McDonald’s and the very recent win of The Learning Lab, won awards under various categories with NTUC Income recognised as the Best of Show and Strongest Local Brand, and McDonald’s winning the title of the Strongest International Brand, Client and Marketer of the Year on the back of a strong campaign work and business outcomes.

Karen Soo, OMD Singapore’s Digital Director, won the Media Person of the Year, retaining the title for the 3rd year in running in our midst by taking over the crown from last year’s winner Galvyn Liu, Account Director at OMD Singapore. Riddhi Parekh, Platform Specialist for OMD Singapore, was awarded the Bright Spark of the Year title.

The Singapore Media Awards are organized by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Singapore (4As). The 4As is a non-profit trade association that represents advertising, media and marketing communications practitioners, agencies, and related businesses in Singapore. 2017 marks the thirteenth presentation of the Singapore Media Awards (SMA) which remains steadfastly committed to inspiring outstanding media strategies that drive successful advertising campaigns, and honoring outstanding young talents and the brightest minds in the media industry.
