MANILA – Anotoys, one of the fastest-growing online toy retailing startups in the Philippines, has awarded its digital marketing business to Mobext Philippines.
Following the awarding of the project, Mobext will be responsible for building the online business of Anotoys, principally through its LaunchPad for E-commerce service. LaunchPad is a newly-launched service by Mobext catering primarily to startups and high-potential small and medium businesses in the Philippines.
Arthur Policarpio, Chief Executive Officer of Mobext Philippines, explained their vision for LaunchPad: “Our vision for LaunchPad is to help the next generation of big businesses in the country exponentially grow their business through affordable digital marketing solutions. Many of the country’s most successful large enterprises today started out as humble, scrappy, bootstrapped startups decades ago. We believe that tomorrow’s successful home-grown large enterprises will originate principally from today’s scrappy, bootstrapped SMEs and startups. We intend to help these future industry leaders take their business to the next level through our LaunchPad service.”
Anotoys is one of the hottest startups in the online retailing space in the Philippines. It offers a wide array of exclusive, premium toy collectibles.
Anotoys started out as a personal hobby by avid toy collector and entrepreneur Oscar Tan Abing, Jr.. He started selling toy collectibles through a Facebook group, that grew principally through word-of-mouth marketing. With no marketing effort, Anotoys grew into a startup that is cash flow positive and is enjoying rapid sales growth. He believes that Mobext’s LaunchPad service will help him grow his toy retailing business not just in the Philippines, but potentially as a global powerhouse that is proudly Filipino born.
Oscar said: “I have big dreams and a big vision for Anotoys. I believe that with Mobext’s help, Anotoys can become the Philippines’ leading online toy store, and make waves not just in the Philippines but around the world as well. Toy Retailing is a multi-billion peso industry in the Philippines, but I believe that it is ripe for major disruption from online toy retailers such as Anotoys.”
