On May 7-11, 2018, ‘Creative Week’ will take place in New York City. Featuring The One Show, the 97th Annual ADC Awards, the dynamic Young Ones Festival, and Creative Week, the five-day event establishes itself as the must-attend event of the year.

Here’s what to expect during a week of celebrating creative excellence across all fields:

THE ONE SHOW

Celebrate the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of 2018 and get to hang out with the top creatives of the year at a two-night gala event on Wednesday, May 9th and Friday, May 11th.

The categories to be awarded on Wednesday are: Branded Entertainment, Design, Direct Marketing, Health Wellness & Pharma, Intellectual Property, Moving Image Craft, Public Relations, Responsive Environments.

The categories to be awarded on Friday are: Cross-Platform, Film, Interactive, Mobile, Print & Outdoor, Radio, Social Influencer Marketing, Social Media, UX/UI, Penta Pencil, Best of Show + Other Special Awards.

THE ADC 97TH ANNUAL AWARDS

The ADC 97th Annual Awards will be the official beginning of Creative Week’s slate of awards. The near century long commitment towards craftsmanship, design and innovation comes to a head at this sumptuous gala, where the very best in Design, Illustration, Photography, Motion, Digital, Advertising, and more are awarded the coveted ADC Cube.

CREATIVE SUMMIT

The Creative Summit with the theme “How to Create Culture” invites the attendees to hear, share, and learn from some of the top industry tastemakers that are setting trends and shaping everything from internal culture to pop culture. Through keynotes, panel discussions, and workshops, the attendees can find out firsthand how brands and agencies can tackle the challenge of staying ahead of culture in the digital world.

EXECUTIVE CREATIVE SUMMIT

The One Club for Creativity’s Executive Creative Summit brings together top-level leaders from around the globe to discuss the issues that affect their businesses, far beyond the scope of creativity, providing a rare opportunity to exchange ideas in a confidential setting.

YOUNG ONES EDUCATIONAL FESTIVAL

The Young Ones Education Festival hosted by Momo Pixel includes the Young Ones Student Awards, portfolio reviews, client pitch competition, and other events. The festival has served as a launching pad for many students’ careers as well as a great opportunity to mingle with fellow students and professionals from all over the world.

CREATIVE WEEK DAYBREAK SESSIONS

That attendees have the chance to start their mornings by taking a glimpse behind the doors of some of New York’s renowned advertising agencies, design firms and digital shops. Each Daybreak Session is intended to be small and intimate, in order for guests to tour the studios and get to know the people who make these creative gems the industry names that they are.

TDC TYPE WALK

This year’s Creative Week Urban Lettering Walk, cosponsored by the Type Directors Club, The One Club, and Legacy of Letters, will take cover the adjoining West Side neighborhoods of the Garment District and Chelsea between 42nd Street and 14th Street.
