CANNES – The Creative Effectiveness Lions Grand Prix is awarded to ‘Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks’ by Ogilvy Mumbai for ITC. The campaign aims to encourage young children in rural India to wash their hands before meals by creating special chalk stick infused with soap.
The chalks could be used to write just like the regular chalk sticks, but the chalk powder that are transferred onto the kids’ hands while writing turned into cleansing soap when their hands came in contact with water.
Gold Lions were awarded to Colenso BBDO, Aukland for ‘The Child Replacement Programme’ for Pedigree and Goodby Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco for ‘Cheetos Museum’.
Meanwhile, six Silver Lions and nine Bronze Lions were also given.
