Campaign Spotlight: Passion Made Possible by Singapore Tourism Board bags Gold Anvil For Campaign Inspiring Travelers To Live Their Passions

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Philippines bagged a Gold Anvil trophy during the 54th Anvil Awards held at the Marriot Hotel Manila in Pasay City. STB won the award for its Passion Made Possible campaign which centered on sharing Singapore’s spirit and story to inspire Filipino travelers to pursue their own passions in the city-state.

An annual competition organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, the Anvil Awards recognize the most outstanding PR programs and tools in the Philippines, and is considered the “Oscars” of the local public relations industry.

STB was the only national tourism organization to receive an Anvil award. “We are deeply honored by this recognition. The Philippines is a very important market for Singapore, and we hope to continue to inspire more Filipino travelers to visit Singapore. Whether you are a foodie, a fashionista, a thrill-seeker looking for the next adventure, or an explorer who enjoys wandering and finding new spaces, there is something for everyone in Singapore,” said Lael Loh, STB’s Area Director for Philippines.

The Passion Made Possible campaign encouraged travelers to discover their own passions as it shared the inspiring, real-life stories of driven and extraordinary Singaporeans. To localize the global campaign, STB Philippines presented Filipino Passion Personalities – exceptional Pinoys with a deep connection to Singapore who have been fearless in their respective pursuits. These included actor and host Mikael Daez, Your Local chef and founder Nicco Santos, and Yardstick founder Andre Chanco. The local agency also mounted experiential and passion-themed events and activations to provide Filipino travelers with a glimpse of what Singapore has to offer for their different passion points.
