It’s up and running again!  Agencies in a mad rush to get their Early Bird entries submitted before the 6PM deadline last Tuesday, September 8, inadvertently crashed the Araw Awards website’s online submission.  Agencies resorted to good, old-fashioned over-the-counter submission instead.

With agencies having difficulty completing the procedure, problems with assessment soon emerged. According to Leigh Reyes, Araw Awards committee co-chair, the glitches were “technical problems with passwords and assessment, but many of them were also individual glitches on the agency side, like attempting to log on from the AdCon website www.adcon.com.ph, instead of on the Araw Awards site www.arawawards.com.”

Having elevated the situation to provider Yehey!, the Araw committee is now correcting and reconciling the database, assessment and payment received.  “We’re able to track activity on the system.  No penalties will be incurred by those who submitted yesterday despite any error, which we will fix if needed,” added Raoul Floresca, committee co-chair.

All questions or concerns can be sent to Creative Committee Coordinator, Andre Figuracion at andre.figgy@gmail.com or via mobile at +639166244535.

The Early Bird deadline garnered around 100 entries from seven agencies, one media agency and several production houses, like Roadrunner, Digitrax, DentsuIndio, BBDO Guerrero, and Campaigns&Grey, to name a few.
