TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno and Petch dominated the show with 9 metals each for the powerful and effective stories they told. Petch’s campaigns for Max’s Restaurant, in particular, left a lasting impact to our set of judges as it came on top in the Film categories.

With the most points, TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno brings home Agency of the Year as well as the Best in Show: Design for Good black metal with the “Disgusting Stories”  campaign for Bahay Tuluyan (Shelter House).

Winning Best in Show: Design for Purpose was BBDO Guerrero‘s “SPAM Recipeoke” for Hormel Foods International (SPAM), a fun campaign that has everybody hooked on singing SPAM-inspired tunes with some of the country’s biggest artists.

This year, for the very first time, adobo is also awarding a Best in Show: Student Category for the astounding quality of work among the entries submitted from the next generation of creatives. From Parsons the New SchoolBijoux Rullan brought home the black metal with “Let’s Learn Baybayin!”, providing a look fresh, new look at one of the country’s ancient script.

Stay tuned for more exclusive interviews with judges and a look behind the judging process.
