People: TBWA Shanghai Promotes Muriel Lechaczynski to Managing Director After 3 Years of Serving as its Managing Partner

SHANGHAI–TBWA\ Shanghai announced the promotion of Muriel Lechaczynski to Managing Director, from her role as managing partner. 

Said Joanne Lao, Chief Executive Officer of TBWA\Greater China, “It’s always rewarding to recognise and elevate talent within. Muriel has played an instrumental role in the ongoing transformation of the Shanghai agency, and has a fabulous quality in her leadership style in being able to bring out the best in teams to get the job done in the most impactful way.”

Lechaczynski rejoined TBWA in Shanghai in 2013 as brand team leader and a member of the management team. In 2016, Muriel was elevated to the role of managing partner and over the last three years has helped to drive innovative new structures, new ways of working and embedding digital and social talent across teams. In recognition of the agency’s ongoing innovation, TBWA\Shanghai was named one of Greater China’s most Integrated Agencies of the Year by Campaign Asia in 2018.
