People: Award-Winning Creative Leader Tony Sarmiento Leaves His Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner Post at Havas Ortega

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Havas Ortega (HVO) announced that Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner Tony Sarmiento is leaving the company effective June 30.

Chairman and CEO Jos Ortega shares, “We thank Tony for his contributions to the company for the past 7 years. This includes his collaborations with the Havas Media Group in Asia, the introduction of Heartbot at the Festival of Media Asia and the solid creative team that he has built in Manila. We wish him only the best for his next milestone.”

On his departure, Sarmiento says, “I’ve been fortunate to have worked with this group of talents. Together, we’ve pulled off and executed a lot of amazing stories that can be seen on the screen, heard on the radio and read on both print and online. My journey with Havas has been very fruitful from winning pitches to creating meaningful projects to help uplift lives in our own creative way.”
