5. Mastercard
As a dedication to the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riot, Mastercard works in partnership with McCann to bring history back to life with the “Acceptance Street”. Although the riots took place at the center of Christopher Street, Gay Street is where the 2 roads meet. Mastercard transformed Gay Street and brought in rainbow-colored signs placed below the original “Gay St” such as Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Nonbinary, Pansexual, and Two Spirit. This serves as a remarkable evidence of how far this community has come.
