PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 27, 2010 – BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines has announced the appointment of Joe Dy to the position of Head of Copy and Creative Director effective late November 2010.
Dy has over 13 years experience in the industry and has won various international creative awards for his work. Since 2005, he has been with JWT Manila where he worked on Clients including Ford, Kraft, Red Horse Beer, Nokia, Unilever, Shell and HSBC.
"I cannot overstate how grateful I am for all the opportunities that JWT and ECD Dave Ferrer accorded me these past five years," said Dy. "Dave, in particular, has been an excellent mentor who really works hard at drawing out the best from us. It has been quite a ride, during which I met quite a number of interesting people, most of whom I consider very good friends. The experience has been nothing short of amazing and I’ll definitely miss working with the JWT Family."
Prior to JWT, Dy was at Leo Burnett Manila where he gained valuable experience working on brands like P&G and McDonald’s.
