In an effort to present itself as a professional leadership organization to a number of potential corporate partners, AIESEC UP Diliman held its biggest corporate event this semester, the Marketing Bash 2010. The event is on its second year, and remains unique to the organization.

AIESEC is the largest student organization in the world, and AIESEC UP Diliman is among its leading branches. The leadership organization is best known for the social impact it creates through its global exchange program, which allows youth to experience work-abroad internships in AIESEC partner companies.

Some of the organization’s most esteemed alumni spoke at the Bash, addressing the current members of AIESEC UP Diliman as well as corporate representatives, all leaders in their respective fields. Anthony Pangilinan (pictured), former president of AIESEC Philippines, spoke about the organization’s dedication to its cause, and his personal experience as a member. Gerboy Ortega, former president of AIESEC UP Diliman and current Vice-President for Human Relations of Pilipinas Shell, wrapped up the Bash with another inspiring speech.

The organization’s current officers also spoke at the Bash with the goal of helping each company present find the missing piece in AIESEC, in the branding opportunities, talent access, and societal impact it offers through its range of projects.
