Clio Awards 2019: Asia Wins Five Golds, 15 Silvers; DENTSU INC. Tokyo Hauls Six Metals at Clio Awards

MANILA, Philippines – Asia is a big winner from the Clio Awards, taking home 35 metals for showcasing the best of Asian creativity on the world stage. DENTSU INC. Tokyo goes home a big winner with three silvers and three bronzes.

Publicis Singapore’s ‘One in a Million’ for P&G Vicks India won a gold under Branded Content.

FCB India Group takes home a gold for ‘The Open Door Project’ for The Millennium School  under Partnerships & Collaborations.

R/GA Tokyo’s ‘My Crayon Project’ also gets a gold for Shiseido under Fashion & Beauty

Wunderman Thompson Bangkok’s ‘Narcos The Censor’s Cut’ for Netflix won a gold under Direct – Out of Home; and a silver award for Out of Home category.

Another gold awardee is BBDO Pakistan’s ‘Truck Art Childfinder’ in collaboration with artist Samar Minallah Khan Berger Paints under Out of Home category. The same campaign got a silver award under Public Relations category.

Meanwhile, Ogilvy Hong Kong takes home two Silver awards for KFC Hong Kong’s ‘Hot & Spicy (Season 2) Campaign’ under Out of Home and Print categories.
Three Silver awards goes to DENTSU INC. Tokyo for ’72POSTERS For School Teams Participating In The High School Sumo Tournament – Project To Increase Sumo Wrestlers – 1 and 2′ both under Print & Out of Home Technique (Art Direction); and ‘GRAPHIC TRIAL 2018 — Experiment In Printing Expression – Iron And Torques’ under Print & Out of Home Technique (Art Direction) category. They are also taking home three Bronze awards for ‘THE KAWAII TWEAK HAZARD SONG’ for GATSBY PERFECT SKIN LOTION under Film category; ‘TUNA SCOPE’ for Sojitz Corporation under Innovation category; and ‘STILL UNKNOWN Campaign’ for D&AD Awards 2018 Exhibition In Japan under Print & Out of Home Technique (Art Direction).

 
Hungry Films gets one Silver and Bronze for ‘The World’s Most Honest Tourism Film’ for MP Tourism under Film Technique (Music – Original) and Film Technique (Editing) categories.  
Ogilvy Group Thailand earns four metals with Silver winner ‘The Secret’ for Voiz Waffle
under Film category; Bronze winner ‘Dinner’ for Line Man under Print category; Bronze winner ‘Dragon’ for LEGO under Print category; and Bronze winner ‘The Box’ for Voiz Cracker under Film category.

Innocean Worldwide Seoul wins a Silver for ‘The Quiet Taxi’ for Hyundai Motor Group under Product Design category.

TBWA\HAKUHODO Tokyo goes home a silver winner for ‘THE MOST CHALLENGING PINGPONG TABLE’ for Japan Para Table Tennis Association under Print & Out of Home Technique (Art Direction) category.
  
Prakit Advertising Bangkok also gets a silver award for ‘Genocide’ for Staedtler under Print & Out of Home Technique (Illustration) category.

Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong bagged two Bronzes for their ‘Homework’ for Chupa Chups under Print category and ‘Fatal Recognition‘ for  The Hong Kong Stroke Association under Innovation category.
