SINGAPORE — As the festivities of this year’s Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity come to a close — from the various sessions to the Young Spikes Winners and the end of the See It Be It programme, to the most anticipated event of the night, The Spikes Awards Show, we take a look back at the highlights of the last day.

As a regular Spikes Asia tradition, several of the jury presidents for this year’s Spikes Awards went up the stage to present sessions under President’s Addresses as they share their personal passions and creative outlook on the world. This included sessions from Josy Paul of BBDO India (Jury President for Glass: The Award For Change, Film and Print & Publishing) Tara McKenty of Google Brand Studios APAC (Jury President for Innovation) and Merlee Jayme of Dentsu Syfu Jayme (Jury President for Outdoor and Radio & Audio).

Finally in the evening, the event that everyone has been waiting for — the Spikes Awards, was held at the Victoria Theatre. This year, for the first time, a Grand Prix was awarded to every category of the awards.

BBDO Worldwide remains unfazed as it wins the Network of the Year — solidifying its 6-year streak. Colenso BBDO has been announced as Agency of the Year, making it the first time in Spikes Asia history that an agency has taken home the Agency of the Year title twice in a row.
