Through new locations at Menarco Tower and Milestone at 5th Avenue, WeWork aims to build a strong community with its current presence in BGC. Featuring key art pieces at Menarco Tower, this is accompanied by visible accents from vernacular architectural elements and materials with modern interpretation.

Clad with Terracotta tiles, the Menarco Tower pantry island design is a warm and welcoming gathering spot, paying homage to traditional Philippine homes that were inspired by Spanish architecture. Contemporary neon lighting also complements the space, a design influence that represents the Bayanihan Spirit. In addition, the lounge also includes canvases of a whale shark, iconic to Cebu and its coastal scenes.

WeWork at Milestone at 5th Avenue also pays homage to local architectural influences by incorporating local Machuca tiles, which are characterized by intricate border motifs. The homage to local culture is further enhanced with unique locally-sourced Philippine rattan panels as freestanding cabinets. They also double up as practical solutions to t separate the Community Bar and the lounge, providing privacy for the community team and acts as a counter space during events held at the venue.

Connecting people through design, technology and community, WeWork aims to continue empowering companies of all sizes in the region to redefine the nature of work.
