IPG Mediabrands, the media and marketing solutions division of Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), has today announced the appointment of Chris Chen to CEO IPG Mediabrands China.
Formerly COO and CFO of DDB Greater China, Chen has more than 15 years progressive leadership experience in strategic financial and operational roles across number of media networks; including 8 years at GroupM China, and prior to joining DDB, serving more than 5 and a half years as IPG Mediabrands China CFO.

Chris Chen’s appointment to the role of CEO IPG Mediabrands China, will follow the departure of Tom Wan at the end of this year. Chris Chen will be based in Shanghai, and will report to Leigh Terry, CEO IPG Mediabrands APAC. His appointment is effective mid-January 2020.
