TBWAShanghai brings in Ong Kien Hoe as Group Creative Director

ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA, JULY 28, 2011 – Ong Kien Hoe joins TBWA\Shanghai in the first week of August as Group Creative Director, bringing with him more than 10 years of brand-building experience in the industry.
 
Having worked with Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy in both Malaysia and China, Ong will work towards TBWAShanghai’s ambitious vision of becoming the iconic creative company in China. 
 
Ong’s creative caliber has helped pave the way for global and local companies in China. He has worked some of the world’s biggest brands including Unilever, Lee Jeans, Toyota, Lexus, Volkswagen, Guinness, Tiger Beer, Nippon Paint, Samsung, Sony, Kraft, Mead Johnson, Dumex, Procter and Gamble, Standard Chartered Bank, Starbucks, Telekom Malaysia and Lenscrafters.

 Ong has won numerous awards at Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, the Clio Awards, ADFEST, Spikes Asia, Australia’s ‘Award’ Awards and London International.
 
The announcement follows digital specialist Dwayne Koh’s appointment as TEQUILAShanghai as Group Creative Director.
