Campaigns & Grey grows chicken legends for Andok’s Amazing Dokito

THE PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 05, 2011 – Campaigns & Grey takes a brave step forward with three films for Andok’s Amazing Dokito depicting characters who grow unusual non-human body parts. In a society where fantasy is close to people’s hearts (babies born with characteristics based on their mothers’ cravings when they were expecting are not unusual), the spots could be mistaken for real stories, hence the disclaimers. 

 

"Wings" has heartwarming life lessons, "Perfect Breasts" is a humorous take on man-boobs, and the documentary-style "Palong", complete with interviews of the people around Earl, features Ramon Bautista in the reenactment scenes. The films are narrated by the characters themselves and show the rough side of urban life, far from the slick and aspirational scenes often seen in ads.

 

Will the films go viral? In just a few days, "Perfect Breasts" is clearly leading in terms of views, with 3,000 people sharing it via Facebook alone. With the rise of various cooked chicken outlets, Andok’s needs to assert itself as a brand in the increasingly crowded fried chicken category. Perhaps it only needs to listen to the people to find the perfect formula for chicken success.
