Manila, Philippines – .giff festival of new cinema is a platform dedicated to contemporary practices in film, video and the emerging ways narratives are told. The .giff platform also helps creators share their art and be discovered. Lockdown Cinema Club is an effort that aims to raise donations for the daily wage film industry workers.
In light of the production shutdowns brought by COVID-19, .giff festival of new cinema will now use its platform to help daily wage industry workers in this time of need, in partnership with Lockdown Cinema Club.

.giff has launched an online film gallery that features local shorts by talented Filipino filmmakers who joined the .giff competition.
Films are available now on giff.ph/watch/ and the GCash QR will be easily scannable for those who want to donate.
