MUNICH, GERMANY – The 16th Innovation Day, which is being organized by the Serviceplan Group together with its partners Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Ad Alliance and Salesforce, will be held virtually this year. For the virtual event on September 30th, the organizers are relying on an innovative digital concept, which, in addition to keynotes and talks by internationally renowned experts and personalities from politics, media and business, will also offer the opportunity for exchange and discussion. To this end, the guests including board members, managing directors and brand managers will come together in the afternoon in interactive workshop sessions on current megatrends in the marketing industry. Moderator and journalist Wolfram Kons will be guiding the audience through the day.

CMO Award Night
For the seventh time, the “CMO of the Year” award will be presented on the evening of Innovation Day. True to the motto “by CMOs for CMOs”, the “CMO of the Year” Council, consisting of 80 Chief Marketing Officers from renowned German companies, will select the top 5 Chief Marketing Officers in Germany in an online survey. The evaluation criteria are person, success, innovation, customer focus and – new this year – purpose & sustainability. The winner is then selected by the 20-member “CMO of the Year Jury” in a session lasting several hours and receives the coveted trophy in a small circle at the CMO Award Night.
