SINGAPORE– – Zendesk, Inc., the service-first CRM company, has launched its Thank You Machine campaign in APAC to align with World Gratitude Day on September 21.
At a time when people are simultaneously more physically separated and digitally connected than ever before, the interactive, socially-driven campaign encourages people around the world to write, illustrate, post and share creative messages of gratitude on a virtual mural to simply say thanks to those who may need to hear it.
The campaign, which will run across 2020, will also be used as an opportunity to show gratitude to key organisations working to fight inequality and racism worldwide. The company will donate $1.7 million to nine organisations, including Singapore non-profit The Codette Project and The Asia Foundation.
Following its soft-launch in the US on August 11, the campaign has already seen incredible momentum with more than 6,000 Thank You cards sent to-date. As of today, it will run worldwide, initially in 9 languages.
“We all know 2020 has been a challenging year full of rapid, widespread change in our home and work lives. At the same time, it has also helped many of us realise the simple yet exponential effect of saying thank you”, said Chad Pearce, vice president, Marketing, APAC, Zendesk.
“At Zendesk, our purpose is to help businesses help billions of customers by solving problems, reducing complexity, and improving relationships. Right now, businesses are either suffering or surging. With ticket volumes spiking, support managers and customer service agents are working hard to keep up.”
“Our Thank You Machine is a way to support the industry through empathy and encourage consumers and brands alike to say thanks. We’re hoping to spread a little gratitude across APAC and boost the number of thank you notes sent close to home,” Pearce concluded.
