BANGKOK, THAILAND – During the midst of crisis COVID-19, kindness flourished among people. There were Pansook cabinets installed in many areas for those affected by the pandemic to get free food and necessities. However, some might forget about animals in sheltered homes, with limited donation, food, and medical supplies.
When everyone is busy trying to save themselves, who else is better to help animals than animals together? To address this, Soi Dog Foundation came up with the campaign “Pet Shows for Good” where pets’s owners can record their cute little acting to post online on Facebook and Instagram to support the campaign for people to donate to foundations.
The donation goes to Soi Dog, Home4Animals, and The Voice Thailand to buy food and medical supplies.
From the foundation’s posts of the campaign, the word spread out quickly. Celebrities joined in and that sprung into a huge user generated contents. Viewers smile while watching these videos and their donations make sheltered animals smile again too.
After just two weeks, the campaign received 300 percent donations with zero budget spent. “Pet Shows for Good” help from friends to friends.
