MANILA, APRIL 17, 2013 – Albert Cuadrante moves up as general manager of pizza chain Greenwich from his previous position as vice president for marketing at Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC).
Cuadrante, who was featured in adobo sidedish (January/February 2013 issue), counts Jollibee’s ‘I Am Young, I Am Pinoy, I am Yum’ Yumburger campaign, the Crispy Wings launch commercial and its 2012 Christmas thematic ad as work he’s most proud of.
Cuadrante relieves the position from Francis Flores, who was appointed as head of international mainstream markets to support Jollibee’s venture interests in China and Vietnam.
JFC completed a deal with Viet Thai International Joint Stock early in 2012 to operate a portfolio of restaurants in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macau and Southern China in a joint venture. The agreement saw a $25 million investment from JFC for a 49% stake of the joint venture in Vietnam and 60% in Hong Kong, plus a $35 million loan.
Harvey Ong, formerly marketing director of Fonterra, makers of milk brand Anchors and Anlene, takes over Cuadrante’s prior post.
