People: Zilingo Appoints Shiela Mauricio as the Country Manager for the Philippines

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Technology and commerce platform Zilingo Philippines has announced Shiela Mauricio as its new Country Manager. In her position, Mauricio will spearhead Zilingo’s continued business operations, strategy execution, and drive profitability, growth for it’s Philippines chapter. 

Shiela Mauricio was one of the very first employees at Zilingo Philippines joining in 2018 and leading the company’s growth and expansion fronts in the country. With her hands-on approach in managing end-to-end operations, Mauricio brings forth over 25 years of business development and sales experience to Zilingo.

In her prior position at Zilingo, Mauricio led to the execution of sales strategy in the Philippines, and on-boarded numerous big clients like Silver Kingdom, Havaianas, Plains and Prints, and Avel Bacudio’s exclusive Athleisure line in partnership with Filipino prime actor, Alden Richards.

An industry veteran, Mauricio has a rich expertise serving various e-commerce businesses such as Ensogo Philippines, Living Social and PPC Asia Corp. She has previously worked with iconic and premier brands such as Bloomingdales and Harvey Nicols during her almost half-decade stint in Dubai.
