Y&R Philippines wins Land Bank of the Philippines in time for 50th anniversary

MANILA, JULY 5, 2013 – Y&R Philippines bested three other agencies in a pitch for government-owned Land Bank of the Philippines.

The pitch occurred last March with other agencies also gunning for the business. But at the end of the second presentation, Land Bank has selected Y&R Philippines to handle their upcoming Anniversary communications.

In time for their upcoming 50th anniversary this August, Land Bank tasked Y&R to boost its marketing and communications. Originally, the bank is known for their viable financial assistance to agricultural sectors like landholders.
 
Y&R executive creative director Badong Abesamis told adobo Magazine: “They want to increase the market, not just in terms of government but also depositors like us, even business people apart from farmers, people in cooperatives and fisher folks.”
 
Recently, Y&R Philippines nabbed three Cannes Lions, one silver and two bronze for Maynilad Water Services’ CSR Campaign ‘Dengue Bottle’.  They have also accomplished materials for ‘Inbisco’, an Indonesian company globally known for their confectionary products.
