Kindness — the ultimate green flag

Bumble’s latest ad revolves around kindness — the underrated but sexiest trait you can find in a match when you’re looking for a special someone. As Adam DiMarco goes about his day in the Bumble spot, people are immediately drawn to him and look at him longingly, but not because of his looks. Rather, he gets attention each time he earnestly and sincerely does a good deed. Going off from insights from the women-first dating app’s survey, which revealed that users found kindness to be more important than looks, the campaign drives home how kindness is not only the right thing to practice and look for; it’s also sexy.

What can be better than new?

At a time when people are always marketed to and influenced to buy whatever’s new, it’s important to remember the tension this has with sustainability. So, for Royal Philips‘ new campaign by Le Pub, the brand spotlighted its commitment to making products that can be refurbished and reused. The fun retro-future aesthetics of the campaign embody this perfectly — a look that embraces the future and the spirit of innovation while also not letting go of things from the past that we can save and refresh.

A journey into a boundless world of creativity 

Design Army celebrates the collaboration of genuine human creativity with AI innovations in its latest work for Georgetown Optician. The out-of-this-world campaign, “Adventures in A-Eye,” featured a sci-fi playground that featured travel themes explored through a retro-futuristic lens. With pioneering adventurers wearing the eyewear collection on the alien landscape, it’s inspired by the many possibilities that can be brought upon by both tapping into the artistry and ingenuity of humans and venturing into the world of AI. 

When individuality comes with community 

Stories for individual success can be exciting and inspiring, but it’s crucial to not let the celebration of individualism get in the way of the celebration of community. In Chivas’ latest lookbook project “Mad Hustle,” in partnership with Complex Philippines, the featured creatives in the spotlight aren’t just there to represent their successes. Rather, they were invited to go beyond their individual feats by discussing the significance of their creative community behind those achievements and what these milestones mean for the community they’re proud to be a part of. 

A spark for queer discovery and connection

Being queer has always added more hurdles in finding the tools, bonds, and avenues through which you can discover, express, and celebrate yourself. The latest relaunch campaign of Jong&Out shows the many ways this LGBTQ+ social media platform can enrich the lives of queer youth. The fresh and vibrant campaign made by queer creatives shows the joy, enlightenment, and communities that can be created by giving queer youth the platform to connect with, uplift, and learn about each other.
