PATTAYA, THAILAND — Entertainment company Arcade Film Factory secured the Philippines its only Finalist recognition in the Film Craft Lotus – Script category of ADFEST, Asia’s most celebrated regional creative festival. The nod was for their work with GIGIL entitled Mother for TNT Telco, which aimed to raise awareness about the government’s SIM Registration law in 2023 and encourage Filipinos to register their SIMs to help decrease SMS fraud in the country.
Marius Talampas, Co-founder of Arcade Film Factory and Director of TNT Telco “Mother,” remarked, “Knowing that ADFEST’s Film Craft Jury is composed of no less than the leaders of the best production companies in Asia, getting our work acknowledged as worthy of a Lotus is a feat we’d love to celebrate.”
