PATTAYA, THAILAND — Entertainment company Arcade Film Factory earned the Philippines’ only Finalist in the Film Craft Lotus Category into a Gold Film Craft Lotus under Script for its work with GIGIL entitled “Mother” for TNT Telco.
With this win, Arcade helped the Philippines tally two golds during Day 1 of the Awards Presentation at ADFEST 2024.
Marius Talampas, Co-founder of Arcade Film Factory and Director of TNT Telco “Mother,” remarked, “Getting our work acknowledged by the esteemed ADFEST jury as worthy of a Gold Lotus is surreal. We hope to continue the same level in all our future work.”
Arcade’s Co-founder and President, Jeorge Agcaoili, said, “This is a significant milestone for the company because this is our first Gold in an international show, signaling the ever-growing potential of our Philippine-based entertainment company. But for now, I think it’s time to send an SMS group message to the Arcade team and our partners for a celebration.”
The film aimed to raise awareness about the government’s SIM Registration law in 2023 and encourage Filipinos to register their SIMs to help decrease SMS fraud in the country.
