MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The APAC Tambuli Awards has opened its call for entries for 2023. Materials released between January 01, 2022 and December 31, 2022 are eligible to enter. Campaigns that ran in 2021 that have not been previously entered may also be submitted. The early bird deadline for submission of entries is set for March 03. The awards night will be held at the Grand Hyatt Manila on June 06.
Tambuli is a project of the School of Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) in collaboration with industry. A distinctive award show that honors growing businesses and brands with purpose, Tambuli recognizes effective mainstream brand campaigns and corporate initiatives that show how when purpose is at the core, growth follows.
Along with a return to in-person events, this year introduces a completely revamped set of categories, clustered into three: Champions for Humanity, Builders of Society, and Leaders for Sustainability & Corporate Purpose. The first two clusters comprise the Brand Purpose division, while the last cluster comprises the Sustainability & Corporate Purpose division. Entries under this division will be benchmarked against international sustainability standards, indicating Tambuli’s serious commitment to making meaningful change.
The Sustainability & Corporate Purpose categories will be evaluated on the effective implementation of non-marketing initiatives by an organization that puts into action its corporate purpose in core areas such as product development, supply chain and logistics, sales and distribution, organization culture and human resources, and so on, creating impact for the common good of its employees, other stakeholders, and the communities they serve. The jury will award sustainability programs that are core to the business, and not ancillary initiatives typically under corporate social responsibility.
The APAC Tambuli Awards celebrates brands and corporate initiatives that show the seamless integration of creativity, purpose, and results.
