Awards: Ace Saatchi & Saatchi and BBDO Guerrero win silver at The Gerety Awards 2022

MANILA, PHILIPPINES —  The Gerety Awards 2022 has announced the winners and two agencies from the Philippines won metals: BBDO Guerrero and Ace Saatchi & Saatchi.

The Gerety Awards brought together a jury to select the best in advertising that resonates most with a female audience, creating a benchmark that is relevant to the market reality, while redefining the standard to which advertising has traditionally been held.

Both under the category Work for Good CUT, “The Dissolving Bottle” by BBDO Guerrero and “Masked Media for National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP)” by Ace Saatchi & Saatchi won silver.

BBDO Guerrero designed a sustainable packaging for shampoo shaped like a bottle to avoid confusion with soap bars. The redesign makes The Naturale Market’s product with zero-plastic waste.

To champion press freedom, Ace Saatchi & Saatchi and the NUJP teamed up to create a face mask with a red hand covering the mouth. First given to the media and eventually to the public as a way to support legal assistance for arrested journalists.

Other Philippine agencies that were shortlisted were Ogilvy & Mather Philippines and Leo Burnett Group Manila.

In total, Gerety Awards have named 5 Grand Prix, 34 Gold, 58 Silver, and 77 Bronze awards. Known as the only creative prize with an all-female jury, Gerety Awards zeroes in on work through the female lens.
