Awards: Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards 2022 names jury presidents

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards reveals its jury presidents for the various category clusters for 2022, to be led by April Adams-Redmond, Global Brand Vice President at Unilever, as the Grand Executive Jury President.

The jury presidents include:

  • Creative – David Guerrero, Creative Chairman, BBDO Guerrero
  • Corporate Purpose – Margot Torres, Managing Director, McDonald’s Philippines
  • Digital, Social & Ecommerce – Natalie Lam, Chief Creative Officer, Asia Pacific & MEA, Publicis Groupe
  • Humanity & Culture – Rupen Desai, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Dole Sunshine Co.
  • Media – Stephan Czypionka, Global Vice President Marketing Performance, Coca-Cola Company
  • Young Marketing Leaders of the Year – Albert Cuadrante, Chief Marketing Officer, Union Bank of the Philippines

April Adams-Redmond, Grand Executive Jury President commented, “At Unilever, we strongly believe that brands with purpose grow, companies with purpose last and people with purpose thrive. This year’s introduction of the Corporate Purpose categories is led by Margot Torres. She says, “the Purpose of a Company defines its mission and essence for existence beyond its financial statement. Tambuli has added a meaningful category called Corporate Purpose to celebrate companies that truly embrace their Purpose and bring this to life. This encourages companies to have its Purpose define how they operate. Corporations have a responsibility nowadays to make the world a better place – the goal is beyond success and should include significance to society.”

Digital, Social & Ecommerce Jury President, Natalie Lam, opined, “the Philippines is an extremely dynamic market with incredible digital, mobile growth. The best creativity in this space, in my humble opinion, should be the freshest, most relevant in how brands connect with their audience, and helps define the voice of the future. Can’t wait to see all the great work and meet the future gen talent behind them!” Stephan Czypionka, Media jury president believes that “effective marketing needs to drive sustainable growth for a brand. Purpose in Marketing must contribute to sustainable growth and should be rooted in the intrinsic benefits and the “Why” of a brand and must matter to consumers. These are the Marketing initiatives the Tambuli awards.”

The pioneer award show globally that recognizes the effectiveness of brand purpose-led marketing campaigns that fuel growth and inspire brands to become a force for good.

The APAC Tambuli awards has opened its call for entries for 2022. The deadline for submission of entries is set for April 4, 2022. Entry forms may be downloaded at www.tambuliawards.asia
