MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The One Club for Creativity has recently revealed the jury for the the One Asia Creative Awards 2022, four of which are from the biggest creative agencies in the Philippines: BBDO Guerrero, Black Pencil Manila, Digitas PH, and Gigil. Each of the four agencies has one of their creative directors as judges for this year’s show, and were chosen among more than 70 creative leaders in the Asia-Pacific region.
Karen Francisco, CD of Black Pencil Manila sits in the jury of Film & Video, Film & Video Craft, Radio & Audio category. Karen is a storyteller who wants to shine a light on the unusual, the compelling, and the inspirational. During her advertising career, she has received a few awards including the One Show, LIA, Adfest, Effies and a shortlist at Cannes.
Emman Carandang, CD and head of art, BBDO Guerrero is in the jury of Design, Print & Out of Home, Print & Out of Home Craft category. Emman started his career at BBDO Guerrero as an Art Director in 2014 and has climbed the ladder ever since, bringing more than 12 years of experience to the role. He is a multi-awarded art director who has worked with a range of global and local brands. Last year, he picked up two coveted Star awards at the global AdStars festival in Korea.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Shackie Caccam, CD of Digitas PH made it to the jury of Direct Marketing, Creative Effectiveness, Innovation, Integrated category. She has the thriving belief in the innate good which she uses in leading teams to craft notable works for clients like Wyeth – Promil Gold 4, Bonakid, Red Ribbon FB, Cecon, and Ponstan.
Jeano Cruz, partner and CD of Gigil was named juror in the Experiential & Immersive, Digital Craft, Gaming, Interactive, Online & Mobile category. Jeano is one of the founding members of the agency. He is also Head of Social and in charge of clients like Safeguard, 7-Eleven Philippines, Cobra Energy Drink, KonsultaMD Telehealth, Globe At Home, and Adobo Connection.
Entries are now open for acceptance, with fees increasing after each deadline period. Regular deadline is August 19, and the final deadline is September 16,. Eligible countries and regions for One Asia are Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Mainland China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
