MANILA, PHILIPPINES — After the successful virtual run of CreativeFest last year, the Philippines 4As (Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies) is once again bringing back CreativeFest on November 24-26, 2021. With the theme CREATIVITY UNLOCKED, this year’s CreativeFest highlights the relentless power of creativity to move not only businesses and individuals but the whole world, especially in the context of today’s ever-changing creative landscape. While the past year has had its difficulties and challenges, we’ve also seen creativity persevere. That in the face of limits, creativity can unlock its best work — finding and creating solutions, bridging gaps, and being a force of good in the world. The three-day online festival will be filled with some of the biggest creative names from all over the world, culminating with the grand comeback of the Kidlat Awards.

“Creativity is our superpower. It’s important that we unlock and use it as a force for good,” says JC Valenzuela, CEO of Propel Manila and 4As Philippines Committee Chairman for CreativeFest. “For this year’s CreativeFest, we are celebrating creativity by unlocking important and exciting discussions on how culture fuels creativity, how platform-challengers create stimuli for vital work, how creativity can make the world a little better than before, among many other hot new topics from our distinguished speakers from all over the world.”

CreativeFest is the country’s biggest gathering of creative minds, local and global experts, and thought leaders from different industries across continents. So expect nothing short of three days of back-to-back inspiring talks, extraordinary stories, masterclasses, idea-sparking roundtable discussions, and keynote speeches from our remarkable lineup of speakers — all coming together at an online festival that celebrates the power of creativity to move business, people, and nations.

The festival will also see the return of the Kidlat Awards on November 26, 2021, as the culmination of the three-day virtual summit.

“Kidlat strikes again! After a year’s absence, the industry’s most prestigious awards show is back and this time we are going all-digital – from entering to judging to the streaming of the actual live show. This means more people can enjoy and experience both CreativeFest and the Kidlat Awards in the comforts and safety of their homes,” says Russ Molina, ECD of Seven A.D. and Kidlat Awards Committee Chair. “During this time, I think it is very important that we come together to celebrate not just creative excellence but also our capacity to strategize, ideate, create and produce work that makes us proud and makes us feel alive. The pandemic has limited much of our freedom but not our creativity. With this year’s theme: CREATIVITY UNLOCKED, we bring to the fore the need for bigger and bolder ideas not just for advertising but for the whole world.”

Submission of entries starts on September 18 until October 18, 2021. Only entries made by Philippine-based agencies, production houses, media, PR, and design shops that have first aired, gone live, been posted online, or made available for public download between February 1, 2019 to February 28, 2021 are qualified for the 2021 Kidlat Awards.
