MANILA, PHILIPPINES — For two years in a row, DDB Group Philippines Chairman and CEO Gil G. Chua has been among the select group of top business leaders awarded as ‘Global Filipino Executive of the Year’ at the Asia CEO Circle of Excellence Awards, the largest business awards event in the Philippines.
With its goal of promoting leadership excellence that contributes to nation-building, the 2021 Asia CEO Awards once more recognized world-class leaders and businesses that stayed on top despite the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Indeed, Gil Chua is one exemplary Filipino business leader who leverages his businesses to make brands number one, enabling people to reach their full potential, while uplifting society through meaningful initiatives.
Even during the pandemic, Chua led DDB Group Philippines to unchartered waters and continued success. The agency group has remained true to its “People First” culture while finding opportunities to be of great value to brands – offering creative and out-of-the-box solutions to their business challenges, producing campaigns that matter, and harnessing digital platforms to help them adapt to the new normal.
