MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Independent agency GIGIL has been named a finalist in five categories of the Southeast Asia Campaign Agency of the Year 2020, converting 100% of its entries into the show to possible winners.
GIGIL was shortlisted in ‘Philippines Independent Agency of the Year,’ and ‘Philippines Creative Agency of the Year’—a category traditionally monopolized by multinationals.
The ideas agency also figured in three regional categories, duking it out with other Southeast Asian agencies.
GIGIL grabbed two shortlists in the ‘Southeast Asia Agency Marketer Partnership of the Year’ category because of its work with the 7-Eleven CLiQQ App, and Orocan. Because of its training program, GIGIL was also named a contender in the category ‘Southeast Asia Talent Development Program of the Year.’
The Campaign Agency of the Year awards recognize inspiring leadership, management excellence, outstanding business performance, and overall achievements in advertising and brand communications. With results tabulated by PwC Singapore, it is the only program that honors agency excellence at both a local and regional level.
Winners will be announced on November 30.
