MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) recently feted Globe Business, the enterprise arm of Globe, with its first gold plus two silver awards at the much-coveted 57th Anvil Awards.
Globe Business proved its excellence by bagging the Gold Anvil Award for Public Relations Tools: Multimedia / Digital Tool – Online Video for “Project Colbert Clockwork Webisodes.” Clockwork is a Globe Business platform that hosts a series of thought leadership interviews aired via YouTube. The topics discussed in Clockwork range from personal and professional insights to business trends and industry best practices.
With a market exhausted from traditional ways of conducting webinars, Globe Business sought to stand out and engage its audience. Through Clockwork, It inspired viewers and immersed them in thought leadership segments hosted by famous TV personality Edu Manzano with leaders of top Philippine corporations as guests.
Clockwork strikes a balance between business and entertainment, serving as a platform to get to know company leaders on a personal level. It allowed Globe Business to reach both young and experienced professionals, and share winning formulas to success in the corporate world— all while conducting these interviews virtually.
Capping off Globe Business’ history-making win are two Silver Anvil Awards for Public Relations Tools: Exhibits and Special Events – Conferences/Conventions for its annual Leadership Innovation forum (Lead-In 2020) and its Project Eagle 2020 campaign.
Lead-In 2020 empowered and enlightened participants on the value of digital transformation during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Holding a series of talks from distinguished experts, Lead-In— Globe’s biggest annual enterprise event —for the first time gathered business leaders and executives in an interactive virtual webinar.
With the theme “Forward & Fearless: A Path Towards a Braver Tomorrow,” Lead-In 2020 was also the culmination of the Project Eagle 2020 campaign. In this campaign, Globe Business created a narrative that builds up to driving a culture of digital transformation for a braver tomorrow. This was supported by Twitter and Facebook posts, PR articles, and client networking.
Nearly 900 Globe Business clients attended the virtual event, exceeding its target of 800 attendees. According to surveys conducted post-event, more than 70% of the attendees found the theme relevant to their businesses.
In 2019, Globe Business also won the Silver Anvil Award for Lead-In. The group also received a Silver Anvil back in 2018 for the 7th Enterprise Innovation Forum.
“We are delighted to have our efforts recognized by such a respected public relations institution. Globe Business continues to drive campaigns that are not only relevant in today’s business context, but also aligned with our goal of helping enterprises own greater tomorrows,” said Raymond Policarpio, Vice President for Product Management and Marketing at Globe Business, Enterprise Group.
The Anvil is considered the “Oscars” of the Philippine PR industry. It is awarded to outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners after careful screening by select PR professionals and judging by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury.
