CANNES, FRANCE — TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno landed a spot at the Cannes Lions Industry Craft shortlist for Tubbataha Coral Rip, a project that spread awareness on the fragility of one of the world’s biggest marine ecosystems.
Created for the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, TBWA, together with The Paper Cutters Guild of the Philippines recreated a portion of the reef on a paper canvas. The detailed artwork was exhibited and torn on the spot to dramatize how something that took millions to form can be destroyed in an instant.
TBWA also earned two Bronze medals for the same project in this year’s One Show and Australian Awards.
