Propel Manila dominates Boomerang Awards shortlists, Leo Burnett and Gigil follow

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Boomerang Awards, the country’s premier digital award show organized by the Internet & Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), has just released its shortlist.

Out of more than a staggering 300 entries, the 45-person jury successfully narrowed down the selection to an impressive 137 entries, spanning 21 transformative categories.

Independent agency Propel Manila, the incumbent IMMAP Boomerang Awards Agency of the Year 2022 and Tech Innovator of the Year 2022, leads the Boomerang Awards shortlists with 20 shortlisted entries for its notable works for Lazada, Jollibee, MoveIt, Meta, Planet Cora, and Gabriela Partylist. CEO and Founder JC Valenzuela also secured a shortlist on Orange Booms for Digital Leaders.

Leo Burnett Group Manila scoops 16 shortlists for its works for McDonald’s, Cebu Pacific, and WWF Philippines. Gigil also bags 16 shortlists for its campaigns for Netflix, Grab, Jollibee, Seaoil, RC Cola, TNT, and the Koolpals Comedy Group. Meanwhile, Publicis JimenezBasic and Dentsu Creative earned 13 and 8 shortlists respectively.
