DDB Philippines receives special award from Jollibee Foods Corporation at global procurement recognition night

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — DDB Philippines (DDB PHL), one of the award-winning creative agencies of DDB Group Philippines, has received a special award from Jollibee Foods Corporation during the latter’s recently held global procurement recognition night for suppliers themed “Accelerating Growth through Partnership.

As the creative agency of Mang Inasal Philippines for 10 years now, DDB Philippines was given the special award for best quality performance, the only agency to receive such an award that night. The Philippines’ Grill Expert, Mang Inasal is part of the Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) family.

This was reportedly the first time that JFC had a grand event where 700 suppliers and partners were in one place for a whole day that culminated in an evening of recognitions.

DDB PHL Managing Director Anna Chua-Norbert said that the unexpected recognition brought so much joy to the agency team who has looked after Mang Inasal for over 10 years.

During the announcement of DDB PHL’s special award, JFC Global Chief Marketing Officer David
Beal
shared a summary of the good work the DDB PHL team has done for Mang Inasal, which all
but show the team’s love for both the brand and the client team behind it.

Anna received the award on stage from no other than JFC Chief Business Support Officer
William Tan Untiong
, who told her, “Keep up the good job! Thank you.”

“It’s such a great feeling to be appreciated this way. It definitely inspires us to do our best always.

emotionally charged creativity and help the brand achieve its communication goals and business

Alongside DDB Philippines, Jollibee Foods Corporation’s other suppliers and partners, who have
helped JFC brands create the best tasting products and experience for its customers, were also
recognized during the event. These include suppliers for packaging, farm produce, dairy products, as
well as multiple farming cooperatives across the nation.
