LAS VEGAS, USA —  London International Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious global award shows, announced the winners and finalists as each jury completed judging. After completing their meticulous judging process, the TV/Cinema and Online Film jury, under the leadership of Daniel Fisher, Global Executive Creative Director of Unilever and Special Projects at Ogilvy, revealed the recipients of this year’s awards.

After extensive deliberation and careful consideration of the exceptional work submitted, the jury awarded 24 Statues and six entries attained Finalist status in TV/Cinema. In the Online Film category, 21 Statues were awarded and seven entries attained Finalist status.

The TV/Cinema category celebrates commercial film made for broadcast television and/or cinema, which demonstrates exemplary ideas and executions. This year’s Grand LIA winner, BETC Paris, captivated jurors with its compelling campaign for CANAL+, titled “Papa.”

The Online Film category recognizes the exceptional work created primarily for release on digital platforms, showcasing a combination of outstanding ideas, executions, and superb craftsmanship. The jury awarded a Grand LIA, six Gold, five Silver, and nine Bronze Statues, as well as seven Finalists. The Grand LIA in this category went to DDB Chicago for its remarkable work, “Apologize the Rainbow,” created for Skittles.

Daniel remarked, “This year, we saw a return of humor. We saw a lot of comedy. The two Grand LIAs we gave were comedy spots.” He went on to say, “For the Grand LIA in TV/Cinema, we gave it to a spot for Canal+ called “Papa”. As soon as we saw it, we knew it was a contender for the Grand Prize.”

LIA President and Founder Barbara Levy emphasized, “The jury was very meticulous. They gave their time and expertise to make sure that every piece of work that was awarded was well deserving. We are very happy that there is a Grand LIA for both TV/Cinema and Online Film. Both films set the bar by marrying beautifully exceptional ideas with world-class technique.”

Created for creatives, LIA has the highest caliber of jurors from across the planet. All rounds of judging were done onsite in Las Vegas over nine days with no pre-judging. Each juror saw every piece of work in their respective Categories. Each jury, along with their President, convened in their judging room to discuss and debate thoroughly before deciding on the Winners. This ensured that all work was judged equally through careful deliberations and robust discussions.
