MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The search for stellar marketing innovators begins as the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) opens nominations for the 43rd Agora Awards, widely regarded as the most prestigious recognition in Philippine marketing industry. The awards honor individuals and organizations that have set new benchmarks in creativity, innovation, and leadership, with strategies that have made a significant impact on the field of marketing nationwide.
In celebration of PMA’s 70th anniversary, this year’s Agora Awards introduce new categories focused on sustainability, including Outstanding Achievement in Social Enterprise and Marketing Campaign. These additions expand the scope to eight individual and eight enterprise categories, reflecting the evolving priorities of the industry. These categories highlight the contributions of professionals and organizations across traditional and digital sectors.
The Agora Awards serve as a platform to recognize leadership, creativity, and marketing impact. Past winners have the opportunity to be inducted into the Agora Hall of Fame, a distinction awarded to those who have won the same award three times. Eligible recipients from 2015 and earlier can be considered for the Marketing Company of the Year award, while those recognized for Marketing Management from 2018 and earlier can vie for Hall of Fame induction. Additionally, a Triple Agora Award will be presented to companies excelling in three different categories.
Alpha Gracias C. Allanigui, CPM/CDMP, Director-in-Charge and Overall Chairperson of the Agora Awards, emphasized the importance of the awards as a platform for showcasing excellence in marketing and entrepreneurship, “Entrepreneurs should vie for the Agora Awards as a powerful platform to showcase their innovative spirit, share their journey of resilience, and inspire others. It’s an opportunity to turn hard-earned experience into a testament of excellence that drives not only their success but also the growth of our economy.”
This year’s theme, “S.M.I.L.E. – Stellar Marketing Innovators: Legacy of Excellence,” highlights creativity, innovation, and sustainable practices in the marketing sector, honoring individuals and organizations making meaningful contributions to the field. “The awards also celebrate entrepreneurship at every scale, inspiring future generations of business leaders and fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem,” Alpha added. “Winning an Agora Award is a testament to a nominee’s commitment to marketing excellence and innovation, serving as a symbol of leadership and an inspiration to the next generation of marketing professionals.”
Nominees will undergo a rigorous selection process evaluated by a panel of Agora Awardees, composed of industry experts and thought leaders. The judging will be based on marketing strategies, evidence-based results, and the impact of their efforts on industries and communities. A distinguished tabulator partner will ensure transparency and fairness throughout the process.
